Come stay in our large 2 bedrooms, 1 and a half bath condo situated in a charming, older condo complex in near north central Austin. The complex is located in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood within short walking distance of cafes, restaurants, parks, shops of all kinds and more on bustling Burnet Road.

Our second-floor condo has just been completely remodeled and is really beautiful, if we do say so ourselves! We have just set up all the new furniture and have been working on the finishing touches. We update the photos often to reflect any new additions.

We have a stylish but comfortable living area that is perfect for relaxing after a busy day in Austin. It features intentionally versatile furniture and an entertainment center equipped with a 48-inch smart TV with 420 or so cable channels and Bluetooth speakers. We also have high speed Internet and Wi-Fi in the condo.

Looking toward the big, beautiful new kitchen, you first see the counter dining and bar area. Three can comfortably eat at the counter on cool new red barstools with an extra barstool in the kitchen when there are four people for dinner.

The kitchen is great for people who like to cook or hang out while others are cooking! The ample cabinets are fully stocked with everything you need and there is a ton of counter space to work on for cooking or otherwise. Don’t worry if you don’t like to cook; there are tons of great restaurants around too!

The bedrooms are large compared to most condos, especially the newer ones! The back bedroom is the “master” with a large walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom (vanity with sink and toilet) connected to a shower/bath that connects also with the guest bathroom. The master bedroom features a Thonet rocking chair creating a cozy, little reading nook. The second bedroom has a large panel closet and features a couple of stylish Art Deco lamps. Both bedrooms have platform beds with 12-inch foam mattresses and sumptuous bedding. Very comfortable!

The condo community is a good mix of people who have lived there for a long time and people who are newer to the area. There is a Homeowners’ Association and we have a copy of the HOA bylaws in the condo. Basically, they are very standard, common-sense rules like no littering on the property, no excessive noise (especially at night and on the weekends), and following the recycling requirements. There is a community patio right across from our condo with a couple of grills and tables you can use as long as you clean up after yourself, of course!

The neighborhood and location are two of the condo’s greatest assets. The neighborhoods all around the condo complex are very nice and great for walking and biking. A half block away is Burnet Road. This is a long road that goes from Central Austin to the way north side of Austin. The blocks of Burnet Rd. near the condo are chocked full of shops (if you like antiques, you will love this area!), restaurants and bars of all kinds. As you go north, you can find anything you could possibly need or want in terms of shopping, etc. To get to the University of Texas and downtown, you can take nearby N. Lamar Blvd. which becomes S. Lamar Blvd. on the other side of downtown and the river in South Austin. The location of our condo is very convenient to all parts of town. If you don’t like driving, Austin is very bike-friendly and has good public transportation.
