For Summer 2025 (June, July, first two weeks of August), we charge $3,300 per month.

We pay Austin Utilities (water, electricity, gas) up to a maximum of $250 a month, which is more than we usually spend in the summer (solar!). You will be responsible for any overage. Internet, Wifi, Smart TV with Apple streaming, Pest Control, Gardener, included. No Cable.

Description

Our beautiful architect-designed solar-powered house was completed in 2015. It is light, spacious, and airy, with tall ceilings with fans in every room, and maple wood floors. ADA compliant: no stairs. The house is suitable for a family with 1-3 children, or two couples with 0-2 small children.

Located in a highly desirable West Austin neighborhood. Three minutes walk to a small shopping center with a Post Office, a cleaner, a liquor store, and a Pakmail. 15 minutes walk to Goldy's Coffee and Veracruz Tacos. 20 minutes walk to Mozarts Cafe on Lake Austin.

8-10 minutes drive to the University of Texas campus, Downtown, the Hike and Bike trail round Town Lake, the flagship Whole Foods Market, Central Market. 2 mins to local HEB. 20 minutes to Bergstrom Airport.

3. Second bedroom, queen-size bed, closet.

4. Third bedroom, two bunk beds, large desk. Can be used as a children’s room, a guest room, or a second office.

5. Full bathroom between second and third bedrooms (Jack and Jill) with bath, shower, toilet, double sink.

7. Library, home office with new Wifi printer.

9. Shaded back patio with fans, lights, comfortable furniture, large table and chairs for outdoor dining, and outdoor plumbed in natural gas grill.

10. Front and back yards, all native plants, gardener comes monthly; drip irrigation is on a regular schedule.

11. AT&T Fiber 1 Gigabit Internet, Wifi, Samsung Smart TV and 5 built-in speakers, Apple HD TV for streaming services. Subscriptions to Apple TV, HBO Max, Tidal, and Disney Plus are all included. (No cable but you are welcome to install it as long as you disconnect before leaving and give back the box.)
